Pflugerville is located in Travis County, next to neighboring Round Rock. As one of the larger Austin suburbs, the city is only a 20-minute drive to the Texas capitol. With over 46,000 people populating the city of Pflugerville, its continual growth makes it a prime place to live. The name comes from its original German settlers by using the German word “pfluger” which translates to “ploughman”.
